The Art Of Manuel Servin
Contemporary Naturalist
Biography
Artist Manuel Servin was born in Mexico, and started his studies of drawing and painting when he was a child, at his elementary school's art workshops. Further on, as a professional art student, Servin began his own painting career as he studied; he was already producing remarkable paintings and showing them at The Art Gardens, associations gathering together hundreds of local and foreign artists in Mexico City. Buyers from all over the world bought his work, collectors from countries as remote as Sweden and Norway, from Scotland, Germany, England, Switzerland and most of Europe, from Israel, from Ecuador, Brazil, Chile, the United States, Canada, and even Japan, as well as his own Mexico, of course. After finishing his professional degree, Servin continued studying acrylic painting with renowned British artist Toby Joysmith for another 3 years, and this experience continues to evolve and develop in Servin's own style and techniques. Servin has worked uninterruptedly since, and has presented more than 60 shows over the years, in groups and individually, in Mexico and abroad. Mr. Servin resides alternatively in Mexico and New York cities, where he is working now in his latest Contemporary Naturalism series of Pop Art paintings of fruit and flowers.
